Charles R. Myers, President & Chief Executive Officer
Education: BS Building Construction - Texas A&M University

Charles Myers formed MYCON General Contractors in 1987, two years after graduating from Texas A&M with a BS in Building Construction. When he began the business, he knew that to be successful, he would have to deliver a product that was better than the competition. He concentrated on delivering quality construction services, emphasizing full service and leading edge technologies, while maximizing value and schedule for his clients.

Charlie’s skills in marketing and overall management of the company have been instrumental in the growth of the company. Today, we perform work in several states, from New Jersey to California. No matter the location, we are organized to support each project with a team of professionals comprised of experienced project managers, project engineers, superintendents and support staff.

Charlie is also a member of several civic and professional organizations, serving on the Business Development Board for Sterling Bank and is an active member of the Urban Land Institute, Real Estate Council, Club Managers Association of America and National Golf Course Owners Association.

James T. Green, Vice President - Estimating
Education: BS Building Construction - Northeast Louisiana University

Jim’s background in Dallas construction spans over twenty-five years, including previous positions of leadership with Hill & Wilkinson and Thomas S. Byrne. Jim has been with MYCON since 1999. As MYCON’s Vice President, Estimating, Jim’s knowledge, experience and integrity has played a key role in MYCON’s success.

Jim, a native of Louisiana, and his wife live in Plano, Texas. He is an avid hunter and loves to fish.

Steve Patterson, Chief Financial Officer
Education: BBA Accounting, Midwestern State University, Wichita Falls, Texas

Steve has over 25 years of financial related construction experience. He joined the MYCON team in 1997 as Controller and was recently promoted to Chief Financial Officer responsible for the entire corporation's financial operations. Prior to working for MYCON Steve spent 16 years with Fluor Daniel handling financial responsibilities on projects ranging from 1 million to over 250 million dollars in size. He was also corporate Controller for another Texas general contractor firm for five years.

Steve lives in McKinney with his wife, Josephine. He is very active in his church and enjoys other civic and social activities. He is passionate about his fellowship with God and his love for his wife, children and grandchildren. His hobbies include gardening, nature walks, camping, fishing, photography and sports, especially hockey, baseball and racing.
