CEO Nominated and Awarded "21 for the 21st Century" 11/1/2003
Charlie was recently nominated and awarded "21 for the 21st Century," which is given to talented people who will be leaders in the new millennium. As the name implies, 21 people are chosen for this award.
They represent people in the Collin County/Richardson area who have demonstrated leadership in varied fields and hold the promise of leadership into the foreseeable future.

It took Charles Myers only two years after graduating with a BS in Building Construction from Texas A&M to form his company, MYCON General Contractors Inc. The company has a proven record of excellence in construction in the Collin County area over the last decade.
In 1998 the company received the City of McKinney "Award of Excellence" for Historic Preservation after Myers took two historic buildings in the Historic Downtown Square and spent considerable funds to restore and preserve them.
In 1999 MYCON General Contractors Inc. was recognized by Inside Collin County Business as the "Best of the Best" in Commercial Contracting. From 1998-2000 Myers served as vice chairman of the McKinney Housing Commission. He and his wife reside in McKinney with their children. |
