McKinney , Texas ( December 8, 2003 ) - Washington Federal Savings has just broken ground on the site of its new division headquarters in Plano , Texas . MYCON | Financial, a division of MYCON General Contractors, has been selected by Washington Federal Savings to build its new 6,000 square foot facility, located at the corner of Parker Road and the Dallas North Tollway.
“We're looking forward to expanding our presence in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex,” said Vaughn Pearson, Texas Division Manager. “We're initially focusing on the high-growth areas of Plano and Frisco to start.” Washington Federal opened its first office in the Park Cities community of Dallas in 2001 and provides it customers with home loans to buy, build or remodel and with FDIC-insured deposit accounts, including savings, checking and certificates of deposit. The company also specializes in residential construction loans for small and medium-sized builders and developers, and finances investments in multi-family properties.
